1 Associate Professor in Financial Accounting (M/F)

Mission
Responsibilities include tutoring of students and teaching on Bachelor and Master levels (especially in the MAA). It is expected that the candidate takes over the position as the study director / co-study director of the Master in Accounting and Audit.
The new Associate Professor is expected to play a strong role within the business administration / management group of the Center for Research in Economics and Management (CREA). Specifically, she/he is to become involved in the further development and in the management of the Master's degree course in Accounting and Audit (MAA) and in the research conducted in financial accounting issues.

Profile
• A PhD in financial accounting, since at least 3 years;
• A record of publications in nationally and/or internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals;
• Experience with and aptitude for teaching and research at the highest level; preference will be given to applicants who have demonstrated success in effective teaching;
• Research profile: we welcome applications from candidates engaged in high-quality scholarship in all areas of financial accounting research. We are also interested to hear from researchers following an interdisciplinary or normative research approach, doing qualitative empirical research or adopting a critical perspective on accounting.
• Ability to work in a multilingual environment: thorough knowledge of French and English is essential, the practice of German will be considered an advantage
