Join one of the most exciting environmental economics teams in conservation and help understand the problems of, and develop practical solutions to, the externalities and other market failures that drive biodiversity loss. Working in a small team of economists, you will provide economic analysis and advice on a wide range of policy areas including agriculture, climate change, marine, and international financing. The team leads the RSPB’s advocacy to influence policy change at Westminster, Brussels, and the devolved administrations on fiscal and regulatory issues such as green taxes. You will have a degree in Economics and preferably a higher degree in a relevant subject. First-rate written, oral, and analytical skills will make you the ideal candidate. You’ll know that nature is amazing – and you’ll want to help us keep it that way. Closing Date: Wednesday 2nd December 2009. Interviews will be held on 10 or 11 December 2009. |
