GENERAL DUTIES
Performs teaching, research, and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise as noted below. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments, performing administrative, supervisory, and other functions as may be assigned.
FLSA: Exempt
CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION
The Economics Department of the City College of New York invites applications for an open rank, tenure-track position in the Economics Department. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Economics. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise in the following areas: Macroeconomics, Money and Banking, Accounting, Public Finance, Urban Economics. Other areas will also be considered, depending on academic record.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ph.D. degree in area(s) of expertise, or equivalent as noted below. Also required are the ability to teach successfully, interest in productive scholarship or creative achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
COMPENSATION
Commensurate with rank, experience and qualifications.
