Bloomberg Core Product is seeking an Analyst/Economist. The main focus of the
role will be to provide comprehensive short-term analysis on recently released economic data and events. The successful candidate will also provide commentary on the implications these may have on related financial markets and economic developments. In addition, the role also requires some longer-term, more detailed analysis of the drivers of economic and market developments. This content will be provided for Bloomberg users globally. Qualifications: - Experience of writing daily reports on global economic and financial market developments - Demonstrated ability to provide more comprehensive, longer-term economic research and analysis in an innovative manner - Strong background in macroeconomics, foreign exchange, commodities, global equities, fixed income and emerging markets in general, and familiarity with major trends in each - Graduate degree or equivalent in economics, international economics, MBA or related field is preferred - Ability to incorporate Bloomberg news, data and analytics in forging a high quality innovative daily research/ analysis platform - Strong sense of collaboration and desire to work with counterparts on a daily ongoing basis in other geographic locations. |
