Business Analyst

Amazon currently seeks a creative, dynamic and motivated Business Analyst for the channel sales support division within its EU headquarters, based in Luxembourg city centre.

You will be a member of the European Merchant Services Team and provide extensive support to Business Development Services. Working for Amazon's 3rd Party merchant programs, you will be responsible for data processing and analyzing relevant business data.

Typical duties will include:

Database Management

- Seller performance and sales database management
- Collecting and analyzing quantitative data

- Presenting analysis to higher level managment
- Processing very large data sets

- Creating, maintaining and improving sales databases

- Developing, implementing and automating processes to collect and manage sales data

- Improving the data flow between multiple systems and user interfaces

Business Analysis
- Providing seller performance deep dive analysis to guide business decision making

- Designing and maintaining metrics models and reports based on collected data

- Building and managing sales performance tracking and audit

- Providing data points for the preparation of business reviews and planning reports

- Driving business-critical projects across EU Merchant Services

- Supporting all European business units

Skills/Qualifications required:

- Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or other business/analytical discipline
- Excellent analytical skills
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent English is required, another European language is preferred, but not essential
- Excellent Microsoft Office/PC skills, including strong working knowledge of Excel.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL.
- Programming skills would be highly advantageous
- Highly organized, ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little to no guidance and tight deadlines
- Good team player and the ability to work with a wide cross-section of people in various locations
- Impeccable attention to detail, passion for processes and systems
- High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
