This position is a very high-profile, senior level post within a brand new Business Unit, specialising in the development and release of a wide range of products which will further enhance the company’s reputation as an industry pioneer.
Linking together multiple R&D teams, global Marketing and Sales divisions and an external Consultancy unit, this is a uniquely challenging position which will present an unequaled opportunity for personal professional development as well as exposure to key decision makers and opinion leaders in the industry.
The responsibilities of the role are varied and wide ranging but will involve:
Designing economic studies to evaluate the suitability of the company’s products in line with agreed specifications and desired outcomes.
Building strong effective working relationships with global marketing, clinical, engineering, and regulatory professionals both internally and externally.
Identify and manage external contractors undertaking economic studies on behalf of the company and where appropriate, carry out in-house economic studies, literature reviews and modeling.
Develop and maintain the company’s reputation for innovation and leadership within the Health Technology Assessment community. Communicate the unit’s results to decision-makers & policy-makers to enable positive legislation, improving patient access. This role requires someone with a strong background in Project Management within Health Economics and Market Access from the Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical or Biotech markets. Strong commercial acumen and a creative approach to strategy leadership is essential for this role as is demonstrable technical ability relating to economics modeling, generating and publishing evidence. Formal post-graduate qualifications in Health Economics, Health Policy or similar are essential for this post and the ideal candidate must be able to show excellent communication skills as the role will entail extensive liaison with very senior company personnel as well as industry decision makers, opinion leaders and strategists.
