Navigant Economics, a subsidiary of Navigant, is comprised of leading academic and industry professionals with backgrounds in economics and finance. Responsibilities:

Administrative:

Schedules meetings and events for senior economists
Stewards new engagements through the conflict check and contracting phases
Orders office supplies and coordinates office requests for maintenance or technical service
Manages independent contractors, collecting and submitting invoices each month
Communicates with Clients, prepares Client correspondence, reviews Client bills
Coordinates the arrival/onboarding and departure of staff, guests, interns, and affiliates
Organizes and maintains paper and electronic files
Composes and edits letters, memoranda, papers, and other documents from verbal instruction or from notes
Demonstrates excellent customer service with individuals at all levels both internal and external
Supports document production using printers, copiers, scanners, and binding machines

Communications and Marketing:

Manages website updates and "News" blurbs
Distributes email announcements
Posts articles to online research networks and submits articles to popular and academic journals for publication
Coordinates events, seminars, and conferences
Assists marketing team with drafting and editing practice brochures

Research & Client Engagements:

Completes research tasks for client engagements as requested
Interacts with a wide variety of databases which support the Client's case including posting, searching, modifying, tagging, organizing, and archiving of sensitive legal documents
Writes, proofreads, and assists in the preparation of legal documents and reports

Qualifications:

Experience working with senior level executives and/or academics, in an Economics research, professional services or consulting firm, or an academic environment
Four year college degree is required; experience in academic research preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products; Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and Microsoft Outlook
Knowledge of databases for research
Supervisory experience in a professional services environment
Excellent judgment, and ability to communicate appropriately with senior staff, valued clients from law firms and major companies, and related constituencies
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) including writing, proofreading and editing
Ability to work autonomously and to prioritize and multi-task successfully
Exhibit initiative and professionalism
Flexible hours and overtime hours are required, and may be unexpected at times
