Job Description

The Implementation and Optimization Analyst empowers the Digital Channels organization with analytics and testing to support planning, tactical execution and optimization of the customer experience. In this position you will play a key role in implementing comprehensive, accurate analytics across digital channels and you will drive continuous improvement of our site through the design and execution of A/B tests.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the implementation and maintenance of our tools, e.g. Adobe Analytics, Tealium, Adobe Target and Voice of Customer.
Work with vendors and development teams to develop reporting strategies and ensure data is being collected properly and accurately.
Identify opportunities for analysis and testing on the site that increase conversion or drive revenue; use data to communicate recommendations to improve performance to stakeholders; promote the adoption of a test-and-learn culture.
Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to improve user experience.
Coordinate with stakeholders and write clear requirements for implementation.
Liaise with our technology teams for analytics tracking and A/B test execution.
Conduct quality assurance checks and data validation, identify data collection issues and gaps, recommend and implement fixes.
Define best practice approaches for analyzing user behavior on the online channels, for configuring web analytics technology, and for interpreting data.

Job Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Statistics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or relevant field.
Web and travel industry experience preferred.
Highly motivated/self-starter with a sense of ownership, willingness to learn, high degree of curiosity and desire to succeed.
Experience with usability, conversion analysis, and multivariate testing highly preferred.
Experience with web analytics applications (Adobe Analytics, Core Metrics, Tealeaf, Google Analytics, etc.).
Experience with tag management systems (Tealium, Ensighten, Adobe DTM, etc.) preferred.
Experience with A/B testing tools (Adobe Target, Monetate, etc.) preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Database query experience (SQL, SAS, Oracle, Datameer).
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities/projects on strict deadlines with minimal supervision/direction.
