We are looking to hire economics or mathematics majors with an interest in policy research. The candidate will be also be involved in dissemination and any other research assistance required. Candidates who can work independently and take ownership of their research, are preferred. A firm understanding of the Indian economy (as well as its interactions with the global economy) is a prerequisite.

Basic Requirements:
• Research Skills – The position is primarily research based and it is expected that the candidate can conduct structured research on a discursive range of policy issues, such as growth, innovation, and economic productivity. The candidate must possess strong conceptual skills and be familiar with standard econometric tools.

● Writing Proficiency – It is imperative that applicants are capable writers, as a large portion of the work focuses on developing written outputs in the form of short briefs as well as long form reports.

Additional Criteria:
● Analytical Skills – We deliver cross-thematic research to our clients which extends beyond economic policy and may include analyses of political economy issues related to contemporary affairs.

● General Awareness – A basic understanding of governance and politics is required, along with knowledge of key global trends and domestic policies.
