Assistant Professor (2 tenure track positions) - Economics

The Department of Economics in the School of Business at The College of New Jersey invites applicants for 2 tenure - track assistant professor positions beginning academic year 2015-2016. The applicant is expected to teach principles of economics and business statistics; strong preference will be given to the candidate with research and teaching interests in one of the following fields: Applied Macroeconomics, European Economic History, Environmental Economics, Money and Financial Markets, Statistics, or Urban/Regional Economic. All faculty also provide service to the TCNJ community, typically through committee work, and advise students.

A Ph.D. with teaching experience is preferred, but candidates with ABD status and teaching experience will also be considered. A commitment to high quality undergraduate education, quality scholarly publication, and a desire to serve as an adviser on student research projects is expected.
