The Department of Economics at the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level starting August 2016. We seek individuals showing promise of excellent scholarship and teaching. Candidates working in all fields in applied microeconomics are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or expect completion by August 1, 2016.

The CU Denver Economics Department offers bachelors and master's degrees in economics on our downtown Denver campus, and a bachelor degree in economics at our international college in Beijing. Our faculty are highly active in scholarly research (www.econ.ucdenver.edu). The typical teaching load is four courses per year, with a possible course release in the first year.
