Job Description

University of Houston-Clear Lake invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics position beginning fall 2015.

Normal teaching load is nine hours per semester.

Preference will be given to applications received by November 15, 2014.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Economics (or ABD nearing completion) with the ability to teach in the areas of Money and Banking, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics.

Publications in refereed journals, presentations of academic papers at professional meetings, excellent oral communication skills, and a strong commitment to teaching are expected.
