Client Analytics is a new team in Facebook's Marketing Science department. The team will work with client facing measurement teams to design and execute measurement programs that help clients understand and improve the effectiveness of their advertising on Facebook. This research will include both studies for individual clients and industry-level research. The team will use learning's from this work to influence Facebook's internal measurement product and ad product roadmap. Facebook is seeking exceptional candidates to join this new team. We're looking for people with strong analytical and critical thinking skills and familiarity with a broad set of ad measurement solutions and advertising research in general. To successfully conduct these research studies, the candidate will need to be able to work cross-functionally with advertisers, sales teams, and other members of our measurement team. This is a full-time position and is located in Menlo Park.

Responsibilities

Work with select advertisers to execute analytical projects related to Facebook advertising effectiveness.
Participate in preparation and presentation of project results and outcomes.
Work with other teams within Facebook to leverage learnings through either product enhancements or well-defined best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in an analytical field (such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or similar).
2+ years post-collegiate work experience in a quantitative field
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate technical content to general audiences
Experience working with large data-sets
Experience with packages such as R, MATLAB, SPSS, SAS, STATA, etc. preferred
Experience with HQL/ SQL
General knowledge of advertising measurement methods and technologies
