Mott MacDonald has an exciting opportunity for a climate change adaptation economist to join its newly formed Climate Resilience Division in either London or Cambridge.

Job Description
You will act in an advisory capacity to internal and external clients across all of Mott MacDonald's operating sectors, providing technical advice on the application of climate change adaptation economics.

You will also be responsible for bidding for project work, contributing to other teams' bids, and managing ongoing projects to ensure they are delivered on time, under budget and to the standards that our clients expect of a leading multinational consultancy.

Candidate Specification
Formal qualifications at Bachelor, Master, or higher level in a relevant degree (eg: climate change, environmental science, geography, economics)
Experience applying climate change economic theory to practical and operational issues
Experience providing technical support and advice to internal and external clients
Respected specialist in your organisation/field, providing technical leadership through paper publications, reports, conference presentations etc.
Acute understanding of the interactions between climate change polices, operational delivery and strategic policy development
Established track record of proposal development and working with large funding institutions
Proven track-record working on projects across different geographies and sectors, preferably in multidisciplinary teams
