We are currently seeking a full-time Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our Madrid office to focus on assisting clients with regulatory strategy, litigation, and general advisory and policy services.

Your main responsibilities require you to take an active role in high-stakes regulatory work. Our consultants can manage multiple projects concurrently, liaise with clients and assist with relationship management. You will also be expected to assist with mentoring, managing and recruitment of junior staff.

Other responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, providing research, analysis and advice to clients in the energy/water/telecoms sector(s); reviewing, summarizing and analyzing secondary research; collecting and analysing market data, industry trends, and financial and economic information; building and using spread sheet models; creating trial exhibits; drafting memos, expert reports and presentation materials.

We are seeking candidates with an MSc or PhD in economics, strong academic record required, plus at least 5 yrs of prior work experience. Prior financial valuation experience and prior experience working at a regulator or in economic consulting is preferred. Candidates must be organized, possess exceptional writing and quantitative skills and have a demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Business level fluency in Spanish and English is required. Candidates must possess working rights for Spain. Some travel required.
