The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Business Intelligence and Information Systems you'll be driving game performance through data-based recommendations. You will be evaluating the success of game development, assigning key performance metrics, benchmarking and analysing them through data analysis and statistical methods. You will be required to drive the game development loop of 'Measure, analysis and improve' with particular focus on game economics. Your 'can-do attitude' means you attack every problem no matter how large or small with energy, drive and determination.

Requirements:

Excellent Analytical skills and in particular the ability to optimise in game economies.
Experience with assisting in the development of mobile games
Ability to continuously adapt the business intelligence platform in a rapidly changing environment. This would include quickly and efficiently integrating new sources of data into the data warehouse on a weekly basis.
Experience in gathering business requirements and delivering both standard reporting and analysis.
Confidence in working with a all departments of a business with different needs and being able to provide innovative, fit for purpose information solutions.
Able to gather the required knowledge to understand all business functions so that you can assist them through the provision of the right information.
Experienced in managing your own priorities based on business goals.
Experience of working in an Agile environment.
Good business and technical skills in data analysis.
Highly proficient data mining skills such as SQL/Python or hadoop map reduce.
Good ETL skills using any data integration software to create scheduled packages that move and transform data between data sources.
Experience with transforming large datasets
Great numerical skills and a passion for data
An interest in continuous process improvement through the provision on good information systems.
An ability to identify business opportunities through the analysis of data.
Knowledge in writing scripts to extract data from API's (usually REST based).
Substantial experience with social networking and game design
A passion for learning new technologies to provide the best solution for a problem.
Be able to present insights in a clear, imaginative and innovative way so that recipients can make the right business decisions
Degree in mathematics, engineering or other technical field an advantage
