Key Responsibilities:

As a data scientist you will work with a team of data scientists to build econometric and machine learning models to identify causation and create predictability in key areas, such as revenue forecasting, employee attrition and experience, and understanding our clients, which will provide key inputs to critical businesses processes. This role will require both the technical acumen to select and estimate appropriate models and the ability to effectively communicate results and findings to senior business leaders. As this involves creating new capabilities and solutions to bring data enablement to business processes, there will be a need to continually identify opportunities to apply data analytics to inform and enhance business performance within EY, as well as that of our clients.

Minimum Requirements:

•PhD in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or Computer Science
•Experience in time-series econometrics for both big and small data
•Experience in machine learning modelling and interpretation
•5+ years of post-graduate experience
•Familiarity with one or more common tools used for data cleaning, analysis, and visualization: R, Python, Stata, or SAS.

Ideal Additional Experience:

•Two or more years of experience in consulting, business, or government
•Familiarity with SQL and common database tools
•Experience managing and mentoring more junior colleagues
