1 PhD (Doctoral Candidate) position in Labour Economics (m/f)

Fixed- term 14-months initial contract, extendable to 36 months
Full-time position, 40h/week.
Starting date: September 1, 2019 (or later)

Tasks
• The doctoral researcher will be working within the Centre for Research in Economics and Management. The doctoral researcher is expected to contribute to research projects in the area of labour economics. Applicants with particular interest in empirical research using survey or administrative data and in policy evaluation would be given a strong preference.
• The candidate's main task will be to prepare a doctoral thesis in the field of labour economics, under the supervision of Prof. Konstantinos Tatsiramos. The thesis work will be undertaken at the University of Luxembourg but can also be part of a jointly-supervised with another university.
• Contribute to the teaching of classes ranging from one to three hours per week, of small group teachings and tutorials.

Profile
• Master's degree in Economics (quantitative or research training). Candidates should meet the eligibility requirements of the Doctoral School in Economics and Finance.
