Florida Realtors
Orlando - United States
S: Dependent upon experience

Who We Are:
With over 238,000 members, the Florida Association of Realtors (branded as Florida Realtors) is the largest trade association in Florida. Since 1916, our member-driven organization has worked to meet the needs of the Realtor community and support homeownership in Florida, providing members with valuable business services, continuing education, economic research, legislative representation and advocacy, networking opportunities, business contacts, and world-class experiences.

Based at our headquarters in Orlando, the Florida Realtors Research Department's directives include the analysis of a wide range of current issues and trends affecting Florida's economy and real estate markets, as well as the production and dissemination of the association's widely-cited monthly housing market statistics to the public, the media, and Florida Realtors members. The Research team also maintains a complete and comprehensive database of individual Florida property records and residential real estate listings, derived from nearly 30 years of county property tax records and continuous data feeds from every multiple listing service in the state.

Research will vary from small-scale ad hoc analyses to more in-depth and rigorous explorations of trends, issues, and policies.

The Economic Analyst will also assist in the monthly production and dissemination of the research team's monthly Florida housing market statistics, and will collaborate with fellow research team members to deliver research results and related content to various audiences through a wide variety of formats, including short-form publications (e.g. blog posts, articles, slideshows, and executive summaries), long-form publications (e.g., research reports and white papers), data visualizations (e.g. infographics, charts, tables, maps, and interactive web tools), speaking presentations, and online videos.

Other duties of the Economic Analyst will include the provision of general research support to the team's senior economists, responding to member inquiries related to economic data and research, contributions to the design and interpretation of surveys, quality assurance support for the team's databases and research products, and active participation in department and association meetings and events.
