We’re the world’s independent children’s charity. We’re outraged that millions of children are still denied proper healthcare, food, education and protection. We’re working flat out to get every child their rights and we’re determined to make further, faster changes. How many? How fast? It’s up to you.
Save the Children is looking for an Economic Policy Adviser, specialising in development policy, to join us in improving the lives of children all over the world. You will help us to push for change, informing our global and national advocacy with critical analysis on economic and development policy, producing cutting edge policy publications and representing Save the Children in high level meetings with a range of audiences. You will strengthen our capacity to influence policy areas such as aid, pro-poor growth, and national budgeting, with a strong focus on equity issues. You will be helping us to deliver EVERY ONE – Save the Children’s new global campaign to save millions of children’s lives.
You will need to be a strategic thinker with proven advocacy success. You will bring expertise in economic and development policy analysis, with a particular focus on childhood poverty; experience in policy research, including an ability to analyse and synthesize complex data; and excellent written and oral communication skills.
