AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Economics Analyst for immediate employment for the Arlington, VA office. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Market demand analysis for strategic and master planning projects, focusing on infill development and transit oriented development (TOD)
Cost-benefit analysis
Financial feasibility/pro forma analysis for real estate development projects
Demographic and economic research and analysis
Case studies and technical report drafts
Occasional travel
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
2+ years' experience in urban and real estate economics, urban planning, public policy, business administration or policy modeling/design
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel spreadsheet skills in particular
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
Experience/familiarity with ArcGIS
Excellent communication and writing skills are critical
Interest and knowledge of industry trends and standards in real estate development, planning and/or economic development
Ability to manage time and assignments on multiple projects and to meet deadlines
Takes responsibility for accurate, detailed, and timely data analysis with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree desirable
Spanish language skills a plus
Experience with Adobe InDesign program
Experience with other quantitative/statistical programs such as IMPLAN desirable
Experience or familiarity with economic impact analysis using IMPLAN, RIMS II, or other tools
