Overview:
The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation, Inc., Ardmore, Oklahoma is accepting applications for an Economics Associate in the Center for Economic Information & Analysis within the Agricultural Division.

Responsibilities:
The Economics Associate will be expected to work in the Center of Economic Information & Analysis under the direction of the Center Manager. Work responsibilities will include assimilating, analyzing and organizing datasets using various software programs including Microsoft Excel, SAS, GAMS, Maple, etc. This effort will require the associate to develop a number of enterprise budgets that reflect forage-based beef and cropping systems that currently being developed through on-farm applied research at the Noble Foundation. Integral to this effort requires the associate to spend some of their time participating in on-farm data collection activities conducted collaboratively by agricultural researchers (plant and soil scientists, animal scientists, range scientists and wildlife scientists) and farm operations staff (crop and cattle management activities) on the Noble Foundation's research and demonstration farms.

The Economics Associate will also be expected to spend approximately 20% of their duties communicating relevant and important economic information to Noble Foundation faculty, staff, farmers, ranchers and landowners via PowerPoint presentations, short reports and newsletter articles.

Lastly, the Economics Associate will be spend 20% of their time working closely with the Noble Foundation's Producer Relations program to assist with providing economic assessments of alternative farm and ranch production, management and marketing decisions.

Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics, Economics or Finance is required; minimum of a master's degree in Agricultural Economics, Economics or Finance is preferred.

No experience is required; a minimum of 2 years experience is preferred.
