ICF is looking for an Environmental Economist/Policy Analyst with strong quantitative and writing skills to join our team in Cambridge MA.

About the team…

We supports public- and private-sector clients in the full range of economic and policy activities. We estimate costs and benefits of regulations, policies, and programs as well as evaluate program effectiveness.

We work with virtually all federal agencies as well as state governments and non-governmental organizations. Key clients include the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Transportation, Department of Labor, Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of the Interior, as well as state and local agencies, and private-sector clients.

What you'll be doing….

You'll participate in short- and long-term projects for federal and state government and other clients who develop and implement policies and regulations affecting water resources and the transportation, the environment, energy, labor markets, and other priorities. You'll also create written documents that convey key analytic findings for distribution to internal and external clients. Your work will inform policy decisions by federal, state and local governments.

What you'll need to have….

Master's Degree and 3 years of relevant experience or PhD and 2 years of relevant experience
Experience conducting quantitative analyses using analytical software and productivity tools such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills/Experience….

2+ years of experience conducting analysis using R, SAS, Stata, and developing or applying economic/resource models, or similar tools
