This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Center for Global Health (CGH), Global Immunization Division (GID), Office of the Director (OD), Atlanta, Georgia.

Incumbent will serve as the lead health economist to support planning and implementation of economics projects related to program priorities. Serves as an authoritative technical advisor on health economics matters related to analysis and collection of health economic data, and provides guidance on economic aspects of global immunization program and policy development. Plans and implements health economics projects pertinent to global immunization and routine immunization systems. Works with GID and other CDC Divisions and external partners to form a network in support of a developing and implementing a health economics agenda for global immunization. Recommends improvements in health economics methods. Conceives, designs and directs methodological studies to determine the optimum procedures for measurements and data collection for health economic studies. Keeps up to date on the latest developments in health economics related to global immunization.
