International Development Group LLC (IDG) is seeking experienced Economists for an anticipated USAID funded project. The position is open to all qualified professional levels on either a full-time and part-time basis. The anticipated Leadership II PFM project, will support rapid, sustainable, and equitable economic growth in United Stated Agency for International Development (USAID) assisted countries by enabling USAID to better address public financial management, sound macroeconomic planning and policies, and other selected economic governance issues such as regulatory reform and trade facilitation issues. The Economist will be responsible for technical leadership and serve as an advisor on fiscal issues in one of the following areas:

Expenditure
Economic Governance
Revenue
Tax Administration/ Policy
Public Financial Management
Customs Operations

Qualifications:

A minimum of 4years of demonstrated success working in a developing world context with substantial experience in economic governance issues, public financial management, tax administration, tax policy, and/or expenditure management.
A Master's Degree in economics or an appropriate interdisciplinary subject
Business proficiency, written and spoken, in English
