The Louis Berger Group, Inc. (Berger) is an international consulting firm specializing in environmental and facilities planning, community planning, natural resource management, and infrastructure engineering. Berger employs more than 4,500 people in 90 offices throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Berger seeks a mid- level economist for our Denver office to assist in economic evaluations for both public and private clients. These projects may be on a variety of markets including: land use management, energy development (traditional and alternative energy sources), transportation planning, ecosystem restoration planning, recreation and tourism, and water development.

Duties would include:

· Crafting socioeconomic analysis studies in support of environmental compliance requirements
· Economic impact analysis and modeling
· Evaluation of regulatory impacts
· Statistical analysis
· Managing data collection and analysis
· Miscellaneous tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor or Master Degree in economics; emphasis in natural resource or environmental economics a plus.
5 to 10 years of experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, standard statistical software packages and industry accepted input-output models. Knowledge of GIS and Access a plus.
