Key Role:
Assist with expanding transportation economics footprints in the surface transportation market, including the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Assist in business development and delivery of projects in the areas of cost benefit analysis (BCA), public-private partnerships (P3), public-private-public partnerships (P4), value-for-money analysis (VfM), and surface transportation economics issues. Leverage experience with working in state and local agencies on BCA and P3-related issues. Collaborate in a team environment, supporting public and private sector clients to solve real business problems through the creative application of Booz Allen service offerings. Work within cross-functional teams to engage the client, comprehend the client's problems, and develop strategic analytical products. Develop project management expertise, including collaboration with members of other teams to accomplish problem resolution and other tasks in a timely manner. This position is located in Washington DC.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience in the transportation industry
-Experience with data analysis
-Experience with surface transportation P3, BCA, and VfM
-Experience in working with federal agencies, including FHWA office of operations, planning and policy, and FTA
-Experience in working with state and local transportation agencies
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-PhD degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with business development
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent relationship building skills
-PhD degree in Economics or in a related field
