Our forecasts and analysis allow them to more effectively negotiate with their suppliers and better time key purchases. Additionally, we pull apart their supplier's cost structures, providing in-depth analysis of prices, costs, demand, productivity, and margins giving them added leverage in contract negotiations. Our expanding Pricing and Purchasing team in London now require a highly motivated and analytical individual to monitor and forecast prices and market fundamentals in his/her assigned sector.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, forecasting, and writing on the price outlook for their assigned industry. The Analyst will also work directly with clients and in support of sales, answering ad-hoc pricing questions, demonstrating our price forecast methodology, and explaining our current outlook.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

1-3 years of experience preferred.
Minimum requirement of BA/BS in economics.
A master's degree in economics would be preferred.
Firm understanding of economic markets and microeconomic theory
Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform statistical analysis, econometric modeling, and applied economic research
Experience with a statistical computer program such as EVIEWS is highly desirable
Attention to detail and solid problem-solving skills
Excellent oral communication and writing skills
