Applicant must have strong applied econometrics and computer programming skills and will join the econometrics and forecasting team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Role:
• Will carry out advanced economic analyses on a variety of applied problems as required.
• Perform econometric modeling, model specification and optimization, and forecasting of demand using large time series datasets.
• Assist the econometrics and forecasting team in identifying innovative estimation techniques from recent scholarly sources and incorporating these methods into current model specifications.
• Collaborate with the econometrics and forecasting team to identify and implement quality assurance best practices and other procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Document tasks, methods, data, and findings to a high level of precision.
• Prepare drafts of written analyses, reports, and presentations to be delivered to clients.

Requirements:
• Economics MA/MS. (PhD in Economics preferred)
• Coursework in econometrics and time series methods.
• Advanced user of Excel and SQL or similar.
• Strong computer programming and database management skills.
• Advanced user of statistical software packages such as EVIEWS, STATA, SAS, R, Matlab, or other.
• 1-3 years of applied statistical research, modeling, and forecasting experience with large datasets preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively and congenially with others.
• Organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
