The Los Angeles Clippers are looking for a Financial Analyst to assist with budget planning, financial forecasting, accounting and analytical support for the upcoming season. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and the incumbent should possess strong analytical and financial skills, be able to create complex financial models, be highly skilled in both Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and be able to produce and deliver complex financial presentations for management. The candidate must have a high level of personal integrity and professional ethics. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of corporate finance and accounting, and be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management and staff in the organization via written and oral communication. Strong qualitative and quantitative skills are a must. ** A cover letter is required to be considered for this position.**

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)

Perform financial analysis and modeling as assigned (including modeling future operating performance metrics).
Compile, research, analyze and utilize LAC and NBA data to provide useful information to aid the organization in achieving its goals.
Develop, update, and maintain existing databases and models that can be repeatedly used to gather various financial and statistical information.
Assist with the preparation of materials to be used in management presentations.
Assist in preparation of annual budget and rolling forecasts.
Prepare pro forma analysis for upcoming events.
Track and analyze key operating metrics.
Support accounting staff as necessary.
Performs other duties/projects as assigned.

Education and experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 1-2 years experience as an analyst required.
