planning, transactions, route development, traffic forecasting, economic regulation/policy and infrastructure
planning/development. We have an extensive global client base including leading airports and airlines as
well as governments and top-tier financial institutions (lenders and investors).
AviaSolutions has established a reputation as advisor of choice in the airport transactions market and now
requires additional financial analysis resource to support on-going business growth.
The Role: Financial Analyst
In this position you will play a key role within our business planning and transaction team, providing
analytical and strategic support to the Director responsible for Transaction Services. The global nature and
diversity of our assignments will provide deep industry experience in a challenging but rewarding role.
As a financial analyst, you will be a team player who is comfortable working in a fast paced, crossfunctional and multi-cultural environment. You must be inquisitive, capable of a high degree of analytical
rigor and have an exceptional work ethic. Assignments require a highly numerate individual who enjoys
problem solving and is able to work with the team to identify key value drivers for a range of business
models. With the confidence to work and interact with senior management and external clients, you will
deliver work of outstanding quality, both written and oral.

Responsibilities:
Provide detailed financial analysis to inform valuation models and equity/debt investment decisions.
Build, review and update financial models.
Undertake benchmarking studies to inform key financial drivers and validate assumptions.
Lead original and independent research of financial drivers impacting differing business models.
Contribute to buy- and sell-side due diligence analysis. Work will be both desktop and on site,
requiring participation in meetings with external parties.
Prepare presentations and reports for clients (airports, banks and financial institutions).
The responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature of the work assigned and are not
exhaustive. Although the focus will be on financial analysis and transaction support, there is an expectation
that the role will support other areas of the business, offering a broad range of experience.
Experience:
The following criteria reflect the key attributes required to undertake the role:
Graduate with a minimum 2:1 honours degree in a highly quantitative discipline such as Accounting,
Finance, Economics or Mathematics.
CFA or CIMA qualifications (in-progress or complete) are an advantage but not a pre-requisite.
Experience in banking and/or financial services is desirable but not a pre-requisite.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills.
Good competence in Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Strong analytical skills, rigour and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise and simultaneously manage multiple tasks.
Ability to work in a team environment and to work to strict project deadlines.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
Foreign language skills (fluency) are an advantage.
An interest in aviation would be beneficial but is not essential.
Remuneration:
Attractive remuneration package with a negotiable salary dependent on the candidate's work
experience and qualifications. A generous performance related bonus will also be available.
Other Information:
This position is based in Woking (Surrey), easily accessible via direct trains from both Clapham
Junction (19 min) and London Waterloo (25 min), or by car (A3, M25).
The majority of work will be undertaken from our offices. However this position will also involve
