The Business Management Department invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor in Management beginning Fall 2014. Successful applicants will demonstrate subject matter expertise, evidence of teaching excellence, skill in engaging students through active and collaborative learning, competent use of instructional technology, exceptional oral and written communication skills, and a strong research record or demonstrated scholarship potential. Teaching will include undergraduate, continuing education, and graduate students. Consistent with our deep commitment to teaching and learning, responsibilities will also include curricular and program development, identification of learning outcomes and methods of assessment, support of experiential education, and academic advising.
Candidates will hold a doctorate (or ABD) in Management or Economics with appropriate quantitative teaching skills. Successful candidates will possess the capability and experience to teach a variety of business courses in their respective areas of expertise, such as Quantitative Methods, Operations Management, and Economics. Familiarity with IACBE or AACSB accreditation standards and processes preferred. Application review is ongoing.
