About the Business Line
Program, Cost, Consultancy
We provide cost and project management services, and specialist consultancy services, to public- and private-sector clients around the world, with a strong presence in Africa, Australia and New Zealand, Europe, the Middle East and the United States.

Job Summary
This is a role for a graduate with strong data/analytical and communication skills to join the Business Economics team to carry out external research commissions. The successful candidate will be involved in providing quantitative data and market analysis with a focus on the construction sector.

Duties include working with colleagues, to provide data analysis and management services to clients on fee earning Business Economics commissions. In addition, the successful candidate will become involved in other AECOM work involving the analysis, management and synthesis of economic and market data.

Minimum Requirements
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a background in a construction related discipline, who is looking to transfer these skills into areas of business intelligence and research. A track record of client focus, project delivery and people management is desirable.
Demonstrable experience in data analysis/management gained through previous/current employment, including knowledge of:
Economic analysis;
Statistical analysis;
Construction costs and economics.

We are looking for enthusiastic, creative, client facing individuals to be involved in client project delivery in an exciting team environment.
More specifically, for this role we are looking for someone with:
Strong interest in data analysis and management.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Confidence, with good presentation skills (both oral and written).
Ability to work with other specialists in a wide range of disciplines/services.

Preferred Qualifications
The successful candidate will be competent in the use of standard MS Office Software, including Excel and Access.
A good first degree in a quantitative discipline (economics, statistics) or in a construction-related discipline (engineering, surveying) is essential.
