We are looking for Economics and Planning graduates to join our London team.

AECOM's Planning + Economics skilled practitioners have been instrumental in forging collaborations to reposition local economies, design master plans, execute regeneration strategies, create more sustainable environments, formulate comprehensive plans, and adopt regulatory and financing strategies that enable effective implementation.

AECOM's Design, Planning & Economics group is one of the leading consultancy teams in the UK working on economics and development, with high profile projects including: High Speed 2; Crossrail 2; Thames Tideway Tunnel; industrial land research for the GLA; Anglesey Energy Island framework; a wider range of development frameworks for mixed use and infrastructure schemes; and international work.

We have positions in our London office for graduate economists and/or town planners. The successful candidates will work on a range of UK and international projects for a wide variety of clients including the public, private and quasi-private sectors. Role/responsibilities:

Working as part of our team at AECOM to help deliver projects in the UK and overseas covering either...

- business planning, feasibility studies, economic impact assessment, regeneration strategies, economics and related planning research, property market research, socio-economic assessments and research, evaluations, transport economics and/or
- planning policy research (e.g. employment land, strategic infrastructure), planning strategy, development frameworks, and neighbourhood planning for a range of private and public sector clients.

Minimum Requirements

An MSc/Dip TP qualification or higher in economics, planning or a related discipline and a proven track record of work experience for a relevant employer (ideally for a minimum of 6 months ).
Strong analytic, numerical and statistical analysis skills are essential
A highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and ability to work in a consultancy environment, for example a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to deliver solutions, and successfully manage time to meet project deadlines.covering effectively dealing with client and colleague relationships and working to tight deadlines.
Be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite as well as overall strong computer proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with relevant design software such as InDesign and mapping/analysis software such as GIS would be helpful.
A passion and commitment to pursue or further develop your career in economics, economic development and/or town planning.
Ideally, a student/licentiate or recognised member of an appropriate professional institution.
