Health Economics and Outcomes Research Manager

Reporting to the Head of Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Oncology, this is a key position within the team. The role has the following responsibilities:

• To develop HTA strategies for development products / indications in order to maximise the chances of a positive outcome;
• To work with cross-functional teams in the development and submission of high quality evidence dossiers to NICE, SMC and AWMSG. To work with cross-functional teams to develop high quality responses to requests and questions from health technology assessment bodies;
• To select and manage UK academic centres and external suppliers to develop HE models, adapt global HE models for UK HTA submissions, conduct HE studies and write HTA submissions;
• To communicate and disseminate health economic and outcomes research data to support value arguments for new and existing products thus contributing to the correct positioning and messaging of Novartis products;
• To develop strong relationships with key academics and health technology assessment customers;
• To influence global health economics plans to ensure that these meet the needs of the UK, maintaining the UK as a centre of excellence
• Keep fully abreast of changes and developments within the HE/HTA environment.
