Health Economist(s) / Policy Analyst(s)

ONE OR POSSIBLY MORE POSITIONS (ONE-YEAR CONTRACT RENEWABLE)

OECD work on health helps countries to monitor the performance of health systems and to analyse different approaches and policies to achieve high-performing health systems.  This involves work in the areas of applied health economics, health policy and health statistics.

We are looking for one or several economists/policy analysts to conduct work in a range of health areas, including (but not necessarily restricted to) the following topics:

1.Modelling health processes and health systems with a view to assessing the effectiveness, efficiency and distributional impact of health interventions.
2.Approaches for comparative effectiveness and cost-effectiveness analyses in health care, and their use in decision-making processes.
3.Mental health policies, financing and payment systems for mental health care.
4.The quality of long-term care services.
5.Evaluating the efficiency of hospitals in different countries.

The successful candidates will work in the Health Division of the Directorate for Employment, Labour and Social Affairs and under the supervision of a senior analyst.
