Junior Customer Intelligence Analyst

The Customer Intelligence team looks after all data relating to customer interactions with ASOS properties. We use this information to help the business understand our customers, answer specific questions for key stakeholders and creating customer facing data products. This role will work to provide reporting and analysis based on data from a variety of sources for users in different parts of the business.

The Role:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Competitor traffic reporting & analysis using tools such as Hitwise & Comscore
Mobile app store data analysis & reporting
Combining information from different sources including web analytics, CRM system & social networks to provide analysis of the customer experience
Using strong analytical skills to provide insight as well as recommendations for change as part of a continual feedback loop
Production of ad hoc analysis to respond to questions from various business stakeholders
Find new ways to create value from our existing data through new analysis and better communication

What Success Looks Like:
Accurate reports are delivered consistently to key stakeholders
The business understands the position of our existing online competitors and new challengers in all key territories
Availability of customer intelligence information is improved through responding to queries and distributing proactive analyses

Skills and experience you will need:

Experience
Highly numerate with a high standard of accuracy with data and commercial awareness of its usage
Bachelor's Degree (2:1 or better) or equivalent in Engineering, Mathematics, Computation, Economics, Business or Finance
A Grade in Mathematics at GCSE and A-level (or equivalent)

Skills
A proactive and analytical approach
Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
Advanced skills in Excel

Nice to have
Experience with low level data manipulation on large data sets using SQL or similar
Good understanding of web languages and technology including HTML and Javascript
Understanding of basic programming concepts (conditional structures, looping structures, functions, variables & data types)
