Description

Under the direct supervision of more senior economists, assembles and reviews data and works in conjunction with members of the team in completing economics studies and analyses. Acquiring and developing the advanced knowledge and skills necessary for economic analysis and forecasting. Preparing materials for monthly Global Macro and Bond Strategy Meetings, updating sovereign ratings model, supporting sovereign research team, and assisting with research for monthly Bond Market Observations and quarterly Economic and Investment Outlook. Proven ability to take initiative to utilize resources, escalates issues, and identifies potential solutions to management. Participates in projects as needed and as deemed appropriate. Ability to work independently and as team player. Ability to handle multiple tasks under deadline with little supervision.

Qualifications

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrate strong attention to details. BA/BS in economics and 1-2 years of experience as an economist.
