Cardiff Business School wishes to make a lectureship appointment in the Economics Section in the field of macroeconomics, econometrics, applied econometrics, financial economics or banking.
The section has a vibrant research culture and a strong teaching environment; students come to Cardiff for degrees ranging from undergraduate all the way through to the PhD programme. Faculties of the Section have published in most of the leading journals, including the American Economic Review, Games and Economic Behaviour, Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Monetary Economics, the Economic Journal, Journal of Econometrics, Journal of European Economic Association, Journal of Applied Econometrics, Labour Economics, Journal of Money Credit and Banking, Journal of Development Economics, Canadian Journal of Economics, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Journal of Time Series Analysis, the Econometrics Journal, Economics Letters, Journal of Banking & Finance, to name but a few. The section is a vigorous research community with strengths in theoretical and applied macroeconomics, including growth, labour, regional and finance, and theoretical and applied econometrics.
Preinterviews for these positions will take place at the AEA Meeting in Boston 3-5 January, 2015 and at the Royal Economic Society Job Market Meeting in London 9-10 January 2015. Candidates should indicate their preferred location for interview in their application.

£31,342 - £37,394 (Grade 6) or £39,685 - £45,954 (Grade 7)
