We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Economics, with a preference for candidates with expertise in Development Economics, or Housing and Urban Economics.

We are seeking to appoint a candidate aspiring to research and teaching excellence, who can contribute to collaborative grant applications, and to administration and outreach.

You will have:

- A record of research of international quality
- A distinctive contribution to make to the work of the current research centres based within the Economics Department, such as
• The Centre for Institutional Performance (CIP);
• The Economic Analysis Research Group (EARG);
• The International Centre for Housing and Urban Economics (ICHUE);
• The Research Centre for the Study of Developing Economies and Emerging Markets (DEEM)
- Enthusiasm for teaching at every level up to PhD
- Ideas for devising new courses
- Willingness to play a full role in the intellectual, educational and administrative life of the department
