We are looking for an outstanding candidate to join the Economics Division of Leeds University Business School during an exciting phase in our development. Our popular and vibrant teaching programmes are expanding whilst our research activities continue to grow. The Division's strong research focus supports our leadership and membership of several high-profile, large-scale research initiatives including projects in the areas of financialisation and infrastructure valuation and delivery. The Division is connected via teaching and research to other faculties at the University of Leeds and aims to pursue a distinctive and high-impact interdisciplinary agenda.

To support these developments we are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Economics. You will have a strong commitment to undertaking high quality research and will be able to contribute excellent teaching to our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

You should hold, or be close to holding, a PhD in economics and have, or demonstrate the potential for, a track record of publications in refereed journals commensurate with 3 or 4 star rating in the Association of Business Schools journal quality list, FT45 list or other equivalent high impact source. You will also have a track record of delivering high quality teaching in economics.

We are seeking applications from candidates with interests in core or applied areas of economics. We would be interested to hear from those with expertise in areas covered by research projects housed within the Economics Division and would also welcome applications from candidates with expertise in applied econometrics, regional and growth economics, public economics, or political economy.
