Lecturer in Economics and Finance

The Business School is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Economics. Applications from candidates with interests in any area that would complement or broaden the School's research and teaching portfolio would be welcome, though interests in micro/applied econometrics and macroeconomics would be especially welcome.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain a research agenda that will lead to publications in high quality journals and grant applications, teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, undertake research supervision at the Masters and PhD levels, and contribute to the administration of the Department. For appointment at Senior Lecturer level, you will be expected to have an significant teaching experience and a record of international excellence in research publications.

Candidates should have a PhD in economics, experience of planning and delivering a range of teaching and assessment activities at undergraduate levels and postgraduate levels and show evidence of sustaining a personal research plan and developing innovative research proposals.

Salary Information £31,342 - £37,394 p.a on Grade 7 or £38,511 - £45,954 p.a on Grade 8
