MACRO ECONOMIST
The Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is looking to hire an experienced Ph.D. economist in the above areas. We prefer candidates with academic or other professional research experience, but we will consider candidates with new Ph.D.s as well. For experienced candidates, solid research achievement is essential. All economists, regardless of rank, are expected to publish in top academic journals. In addition, economists prepare high-level analysis for presentation in Bank policy briefings and publications. For all candidates, excellent communication skills are required.
