Market Research Analyst

This position will reside within the Insights and Market Research (IMR) group's Consumer Strategy & Audience Research team. IMR's mission is to passionately represent the voice of the end-user in all of Intel's product innovation, business strategy, and marketing decisions. IMR reports into Global Marketing and Communications (GMC). In this position, you will be working closely with GMC teams and research vendors to design, implement, manage, analyze and report out on primary market research to inform business decisions. Responsibilities include designing the research approach, beginning with a defined problem statement, research objective and hypothesis, methodology, data analysis, and ultimately the business recommendations. Principal stakeholders are GMC functions as well as those GMC functions replicated in the GEOs.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor of Arts degree or a Bachelor of Science degree in business, economic, marketing research or mathematics; A Master of Science degree or an M.B.A. degree with a marketing focus is preferred
5+ years of experience in the area of market research, including design, analysis, and reporting of both qualitative and quantitative primary research.

Additional / Preferred Profile Characteristics Desired
Ability to define and direct primary research projects on brand measurement, advertising tests, retail studies, purchase behavior and/or audience.
High performance individual with demonstrated ability to manage extremely complex projects with tight deadlines.
Solid qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
High attention to details and execution focused
Outstanding consultative skills and client / stakeholder engagement.
Excellent team player with the confidence and integrity to earn client / stakeholder confidence quickly and exact influence.
Strong level of intellectual curiosity relating to how data can be translated into insights and actions.
Exceptional presentation skills, including proven success with executive presentations that requires taking complex data sets, and boiling down into meaningful and understandable insights and recommendations (e.g. presenting a narrative or story versus dumping large amounts of data).
A passion for developing insights that impact business decisions.
