The Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance of the University of Luxembourg has an opening for a
Professor in Financial Law (M/F)
Ref: ADA Chair (to be mentioned in all correspondence)

The candidate will represented the ADA Chair in Financial Law with a specialisation in Inclusive Finance. He or she will develop this field in research and in teaching.

Mission
The candidate will teach Commercial Law at the Bachelor's level and specialised courses/seminars at the Master's level, especially in Inclusive Finance Law in the Master 2/ L.L.M. Droit bancaire et financier européen.
He or she will give seminars in the Doctoral School of Law.
He or she will teach in the Executive Programme of Financial Law (Inclusive Finance), which he or she will launch and manage.
The key objectives of the Executive Programme would be to:
1) Provide high quality continuing education to professionals in this domain.
2) Target both Luxembourg professionals as well as attract professionals from developing countries.
3) Provide a forum for interchange between the academic and professional world of a major pillar of the Luxembourg financial centre.
4) Create a world-class programme that reinforces Luxembourg's reputation in the field of Inclusive Finance by building on its leading position in the financial and development sector.

Profile
• A PhD in Banking and Financial Law;
• A significant record of publications in internationally recognised peer-reviewed journals, on topics related to Inclusive Finance Law (banking and financial products in microfinance, micro-insurance etc., services and / or institutions);
• A solid background in Investment Funds Law (UCITS & alternative investment funds) and in Social Business Law. A good knowledge in economics or in finance is an additional advantage
• Strong experience and aptitude for teaching at highest level;
• Experience in participating and managing research projects and training programmes is also valuable element.
• He or she should speak at least two of the three languages English, French, and German. A good knowledge of the third language is an additional advantage.
