We are seeking to appoint a Professor of Economics to lead a new disciplinary group in economics in Lincoln Business School and provide leadership for the development of a suite of new economics programmes. Currently Lincoln Business School offers programmes in accounting and finance and has a group of seven economists in the team, but we are now developing a set of new economics programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level and will be making new appointments in economics to support this. The Professor will play a central role in building this team and providing academic leadership for the group.

The successful candidate is expected to have a strong research profile and either strengthen an existing research theme in the school or develop a new strand of research. Candidates should possess a relevant PhD, extensive experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, PhD supervisory experience and an excellent publication record with an international reputation.
