As a Quantitative Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing large data sets and building expert systems that improve our understanding of the web and improve the performance of our products. This effort includes performing complex statistical analyses on non-routine problems and working with engineers to embed models into production systems. Managing fast-changing business priorities and interfacing with product managers and engineers are required for success.

Minimum qualifications
Currently pursuing a MS or PhD in statistics, computer science, mathematics, economics, biostatistics, physics, operations research, or another discipline involving experimental design and quantitative analysis of experimental data.

Preferred qualifications
Experience with models and techniques for statistical data analysis such as linear models, multivariate analysis, sampling methods, classical and Bayesian inference.
Experience in working efficiently with large, noisy, or unstructured data sets, using scripting and statistical software packages (R, S-Plus, SAS, Stata, or similar).
Experience with Unix/Linux.
Proficient in a programming language such as R, Python, MATLAB, or C++.
Strong track record of developing intellectual capital such as published papers, conference presentations, or open-source software.
Fluent in English.
