The Role
In this integral function, as part of Zurich's strategy and markets team within Investment Management, you will work closely with the regional investment specialists to help construct a robust and prescient global macro outlook for the Group.

Key Accountabilities
You will support the regional specialists by providing rigorous analysis of economic variables and be responsible for developing a modelling framework that encapsulates the key components of global growth. Further, your expertise is required to develop and devise analysis techniques to enhance forecasting capabilities. This diverse role provides the opportunity to work on major themes that affect the world economy and shape the investment landscape and requires you to provide high quality written material, as well as present views and findings to a wider audience within the Zurich Group.

Skills and Experience
You should have a Master's degree in economics, with a focus on econometrics and quantitative methods. We expect 3-4 years of work experience in the field of macro economics. You should also have a good understanding of the latest quantitative analysis and evaluation techniques and be experienced in formulating and explaining top-down macro investment strategies. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to project confidence and debate persuasively with senior colleagues. We value an independent, logical thinker, who is committed to providing high quality work. You must be fluent in verbal and written English.
