Jones Lang LaSalle invests heavily in Research employing almost 100 researchers across the EMEA region. The Pan-EMEA team, based in London and Hamburg, coordinate cross border activities and provide a regional view of European property markets, vital in servicing international clients and in distinguishing Jones Lang LaSalle from competitors.

This is a maternity cover role within Jones Lang LaSalle's Corporate Occupier research function, which is a small, high-performance team supporting the growth of our Corporate Solutions, Market Corporate Solutions and Tenant Representation groups across EMEA. The team delivers research in three broad areas - market research, industry research and thought leadership. It is highly client-centric and actively supports our business development teams with corporate intelligence, pitch support and direct client presentations.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be highly analytical with a degree in economics, business management or the broader social sciences.
Previous experience of analysing corporations and / or industry sectors would be beneficial.
A sound understanding and appraisal of current developments and dynamics within multi-national corporations would be beneficial.
An interest in and understanding of property markets and property research is advantageous.
Extensive experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Evidence of managing processes and expectations across boundaries and cultures would be advantageous.
A commercial, pro-active and business oriented approach with an unstinting focus on providing internal stakeholders and external clients with a high-quality, high-value service.

Clear awareness of emerging trends in the corporate environment and the potential real estate implications of these trends

Responsibilities

Assist the team in the production, management and development of our on-line research products
Engaging with Jones Lang LaSalle research teams across the EMEA region to develop international market commentaries on a quarterly basis
Application of market research data to support distinct client deliverables (fee paying and non-fee paying)
Produce insights and overviews on quarterly dynamics across a range of industry sectors
Support the team in responding to business development opportunities
Assist in the creation of new data sets and products that address client need and further differentiate the team
Support the Corporate Occupier Research team in delivering ad hoc and bespoke research to corporate clients and prospects
Maintain, administer and quality control a range of client-facing global research tools
Develop powerful and insightful presentation content on a quarterly basis
