The Research Associate will work with Prof Shane Johnson and Dr David Hudson on a project entitled "Migration Networks, Decisions and Immigration Policy”. The project will involve the analysis of primary data collected through surveys and field experiments in Jamaica and social network analysis. It will also involve the use of agent-based computational models to test theory and simulated policies on documented and undocumented migration.

The post-holder will work alongside Prof Shane Johnson and Dr David Hudson, and a PhD student, also funded through the project, who will use agent-based computational models and the data collected through fieldwork to test theory and simulated policies on documented and undocumented migration. The post-holder will be responsible for fieldwork, social network analysis and the production and communication of the research.

This is a multidisciplinary research project funded for two years in the first instance by the Leverhulme Trust. It is available from 1 May 2015.
